How can I serve others through the church?
God calls everyone to serve their neighbors, and PCLT provides a variety of safe, fun, hands-on ways for everyone in the family to grow by helping others.
Short Term Service Projects. The church conducts at least four mission projects each year. In the past we have helped the homeless find permanent housing, provided gifts for needy children at Christmas, and shared “mana packs” with panhandlers.
Long-term volunteer opportunities. Members of the church are connected to a variety of outreach organizations including the Summit Retirement Center, Lake Travis Crisis Ministries, and Highway Clean-up.
Serving the Church. You can share your spiritual gifts within the community by helping the church to be the church. Whether that means writing for the newsletter, singing in an ensemble, or leading a small group, there is a place for you to contribute as your schedule allows.
